Global Context
Storage Devices are currently evolving, day by day technology is improving and Storage Devices play a big role in storing huge amounts of data. Educating people who don't know about Storage Devices is very helpful for the generation. Data storage has evolved through technological advances in Storage Devices. I initially thought of
creating the booklet because while researching I learned that most younger kids
don’t have lots of knowledge about Storage Devices, that is why I created this
booklet. I shared my booklet across the community and it is very beneficial
because the community learned about Storage Devices and they can use it for
their day to day life, as technology is increasing, more people are using
storage devices, to transfer and save data quickly and efficiently. I developed
my project by using research to put appropriate information for the audience,
so it makes sense and educates the readers. There are no consequences because I
have carefully edited and selected appropriate content for the booklet, as it
will be suitable for the audience and it is helpful for the community.
Information Literacy
I learned lots of new information while researching about
Storage Devices, I went in-depth for particular storage devices and learned the
speed, capacity, portability, reliability and durability of the storage
devices. I learned new research skills, narrowing down my searches for useful
information, I knew things about Storage Devices, that slightly guided the way
I found my information and wrote it down in the booklet.
Communication
To communicate this to other audiences, particularly the
younger audiences, I used simple and medium definitions, so they could
understand the storage device in a simple and easy manner. I used various
amounts of tables to make sure the reader learns the information efficiently,
as one of the main purpose of this booklet is to educate the readers about
Storage Devices, I also used a variety of colours to attract and make the
readers interested in the topic, I also added References, so if the reader
wants to know more information about Storage devices, they can easily use the
references to find and learn about the Storage devices, in a detailed way.
