Peer Evaluations

Students in the group: Kalyani, Yashvi and Avantika
Project presented: Baking Website with Recipes

The project was about baking recipes, videos on two websites and some video recipes for baking. The recipes were for amateurs and professionals for tips in baking. The recipes were for sweets and desserts. I like how they made video recipes, to give more detail and they made a website for convenience. They also put a lot of effort into making lots of websites. They could make an offline app and detailed videos, for enthusiastic bakers and tips for baking and some facts. I think it shouldn't be in the Tech Fair because the topic isn't very interesting to me and this is not very innovative and also it is very easy to make a website.

Students in the group: William
Project presented: Arcade Game
The project was a arcade game on a software called Splonder, there was a game created, a retro arcade game, with different level and stages. The game had lots of jumps and bosses to get through. I like how he made an arcade game because I like arcade games and it had lots of detail. I think to improve the levels and make them challenging to win, so people play it a lot and that would make it a very good tech fair idea, but for now I don't think it deserves to be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Amirreza and Magnus
Project presented: Remote Control BB-8
The project was a globe which is designed to look like a droid called BB-8 is remote controlled, using various materials for the project. I liked the trailer because it was very informative and I like the remote controller droid. They could design the globe to look like BB-8 and put a in-built camera with some protection for some first-person views.
I think this project should be in the tech fair because it requires a lot of effort and is very good.

Students in the group: Abdullah
Project presented: Retro fighting game
The project is a fighting game with popular characters from the past, it uses traditional fighting games styles with combos and various punches and kicks, he used the M.U.G.E.N software for the game. I liked how they bring back the popular characters from the past, to improve he could create a game from scratch as this is mostly not his content as I saw the software or he could develop the characters with abilities. I think this should  be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Rawan
Project presented: Object that moves...
This project is a object that moves with controlled legs and a good structure. The project could have been improved by adding more detail and explain the project and it needs a lot of things to be worked on. I don't think should be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Aashna
Project Presented: Global Warming Awareness
This project is a video to spread awareness about Global Warming. She made a detailed video, while voicing over the video. She didn't find significant cons and found lots of pros because it helps the environment. I don't think this should be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Daniil & Francesco
Project Presented: Rocket
The project is a rocket that launches, it is very interesting because the idea is rarely seen and it is a great project, it has a very complicated way of launching it and it needed lots of materials to make it, it deserves to be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Aytmammet
Project Presented: Speaker Case
The project is a speaker case, it is very innovative and I really like the idea with the velcro but it is too heavy and thick which makes it very inconvenient, but it is good quality. It should be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Jackson and Mario
Project Presented: Robot
The project is a robot that feeds you tomatoes while you are running, an excellent idea and very interesting. It is on your back and takes tomatoes and feeds them, unfortunately I didn't see their presentation, but it should be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Josephine
Project Presented: Techllery
The project is piece of jewellery, I didn't understand and grasp the concept of the techllery and it doesn't have a sole purpose, it took a lot of effort and it is a interesting idea, but it doesn't deserve to be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Maria and Mckaylin
Project Presented: Speakers
The project is homemade speakers, very easy and basic and not a lot of materials needed for the speakers, which makes it great, but the quality isn't great and the design isn't slick, but it should be in the tech fair as it is very easy.

Students in the group: Sameer and Oliver
Project Presented: Car that carries food
The project is very creative and great, the car is fast, durable, has a good battery life, suspension and good grips but it is expensive and not waterproof. It should be in the tech fair because it is a great idea.

Students in the group: Tereza and Rozita
Project Presented: CD Art
The project is too basic and very simple and that's a big con as it is very easy to make, it is eye-catching and artistic. There is various different parts of technology in the CD art. It shouldn't be in the tech fair as it is very simple.

Students in the group: Salma and Tanya
Project Presented: CD Lamp shade
The project isn't common as it is a lamp out of CD's. It is cheaper and smaller than a lamp, the light source isn't great and it is very fragile, one problem can spoil the entire project. This should be in the tech fair.

Students in the group: Zainab and Yasmeen
Project Presented: CD Art-Optical Illusions
The project is about CD Art with optical illusions, a great idea, it is very interesting but the presentation doesn't tell me much about the project, very innovative but it shouldn't be in the tech fair.
